Fig. 6 - I frequently find juvenile slender crabs riding around on the jellies. In 2000 I found that the crabs actively wander around on their jelly hosts and eat hyperiid amphipods when they encounter them. For that reason I routinely keep a few juvenile crabs on my exhibit Chrysaora fuscescens to help control parasites.
